Advisory
SCML International provides scientific advisory services in soft and complex matter, layered materials, and sustainability-oriented material platforms. Advisory work is conducted in collaboration with academic, research-infrastructure, and innovation partners and is grounded in research-based methodology and transparent scientific practice.
Typical advisory scope
- Scientific strategy and project definition in soft and complex matter and functional materials
- Proposal development support (concept consolidation, work-package structuring, and impact logic)
- Experimental design and measurement strategy (SAXS, SANS, XRD, spectroscopy, microscopy)
- Data interpretation and modelling support (structure–property analysis and mechanism testing)
- Materials selection guided by earth-abundant and bio-sourced design principles
- Early-stage sustainability screening to inform R&D direction (not positioned as full LCA)
- Microfluidics and confinement: design logic for flow, transport, and controlled environments
- Technical review of manuscripts, reports, and scientific documentation
Ways of working
Advisory engagements typically take one of the following forms: focused short consultations; structured support over a defined period; or integration as a scientific advisor within a broader collaborative project. Where relevant, SCML International may contribute to coordination and alignment across partners, including facility-based experimental campaigns.
Limits and transparency
SCML International does not operate permanent laboratory infrastructure. Experimental execution is carried out at partner laboratories or shared research facilities. Advisory input is provided as scientific guidance, interpretation, and coordination support and does not replace partner-led regulatory, compliance, or certification responsibilities.
