SCML International is an independent research initiative in soft and complex matter, with a strong focus on earth-abundant and bio-sourced materials, sustainable physical chemistry, and frontier physical science.

SCML International operates along three complementary pillars: Research, Advisory, and Education.

The initiative builds on decades of experimental, theoretical, and cross-disciplinary research and maintains strong links to European and international research infrastructures. SCML International operates through project-based collaborations with universities, research institutes, and large-scale facilities, combining fundamental science with long-term sustainability perspectives.

SCML International does not operate permanent laboratory infrastructure. Experimental work is carried out through trusted partner institutions and access to national and international research facilities, following established models for distributed research. Rather than duplicating laboratory capabilities, SCML International contributes scientific expertise, coordination, and international connectivity.
